The task was to illustrate the Ukrainian folk tale 'Yazykata Khveska' while adapting the storyline. I began my work by seeking inspiration and references in the lifestyle and architecture of ancient Ukrainians, which I found in Lviv at Shevchenkivskyi Hay. I created a series of photographs to capture the beauty and mood of the moment. Following that, in the sketching process, I depicted all the characters from the folk tale and worked on the overall composition of all the images.
